FIrst off, I gotta say that this board rocks! Just found it a few days ago , and I have already met quite a few guys. Not a single one has been questionable, 'cept for me. Through the "What pays the bills?" post I hooked up with Prawn meat. Nice guy! He took me to a very nice little zipperlip, (sorry, not tellin' where, not mine to share) and we had a great morning. We hooked 9 fish, landed 6. Two were a bit colored up, and only one was a hatchery (actually a bright spawned-out snake, kabonk). Smallest fish was that 4 pound snake, but I got VERY lucky and hooked a nice big native hen that was easily 14 pounds plus. The others were in the 6-10 pound range. Anyway, for those naysayers, be willing to share something, offline. You may just be paid back a hundred times over. I certainly was, Thanks Josh! I will post the photos once I fugure out how to get them out of my new digital camera. Andy

How could you just find this board a few days ago and have 800+ posts? Or am I misunderstanding your opening part of the post?

So Andy, you went fishing with Josh...... A fishing trip with Josh is the next best thing to going out with a guide, he's probably the best Steelheader I've ever fished with. Not only is he a good fisherman, but he's quite possibly one of the best people you'll ever meet. Anyhow, I'm glad you got the chance to fish with him.

First of, for the numbskulls out there, I was joking about being new here . Number two, having to explain the joke, means either it wasn't funny (can't not be funny, I wrote it dammit!), or it was over your head. Number three, Josh really is an excellent fisherman and an all around good guy.. Finally, here is a picture of the big fish of the day. I couldn't get Josh's fish to load up yet, can't get the file small enough. Sorry Josh. Andy

First of all, thank you Andy for the enjoyable trip. I had a great time and look forward to fishing with you in the near future. I have plenty other "secret spots". The trip we made wasn't even one of my guaranteed spots, just a good hunch. Second, the picture of Andy's fish doesn't really show what a beauty that fish was. That fish was an absolute pig and was fat to the tail. The thing ripped across the water like a shark when he hooked it. Quite a sight!! Lastly, showing someone a good area and telling them where the fish are going to lay is fine and all. But the real reward is watching it pay off with tight lines and big smiles. As long as you can trust someone to keep a river a zipperlip, I highly recommend sharing a good hole or two.

Hey Josh, Are we floating this weekend or what? It'll have to be on SAT. Beacause SUN. is Easter and the wife said I have to do Family stuff on Easter . Anyhow, just so you know, I'm planning on making SAT a very, very rewarding experience for for you. You'll get to experience the "Ultimate" pay off over and over again as you watch me hook and land one big Nate after another.
